Vehicle Maintenance Specialist

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Lookers VW Preston.
Salary: £38,000 OTE (including £30,000 to £32,000 basic depending on qualifications and experience, plus bonus)
In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out vehicle health checks using the latest technology, conducting vehicle services, and performing any additional repairs as required.
You will work closely with our experienced technicians to deliver first-class customer service and ensure that all vehicles are returned to their owners in excellent condition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out vehicle health checks using the latest technology
- Conducting vehicle services in accordance with manufacturers' guidelines and customer requests
- Performing any additional repairs once authorized by the customer
- Taking customers' vehicles out on road tests to ensure all faults are rectified
- Completing all relevant paperwork to a high standard
Qualifications and Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have prior experience working within a workshop environment and hold a full UK driving licence. Completion of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification is also required. MOT Licence would be a bonus.
Previous experience of working with the brand is advantageous but not essential as full brand accreditation training can be provided.
