Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the class teacher in planning, delivering, and evaluating lessons to ensure strategies are tailored to individual student needs.
  • Provide support to students with ALN, promoting inclusivity within the classroom and preparing intervention sessions to address specific learning gaps.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to implement effective teaching strategies and behaviour management techniques.
  • Assist with the coordination and administration of assessments, ensuring accurate recording and reporting of student progress.

Requirements:

  • Teaching Assistant Level 2 or Higher.
  • Proven experience in supporting teaching and learning at primary or secondary level.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the national curriculum.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
