Job Title: Neuroendocrine Cancer Pathway Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physiotherapist to join our Paediatric Respiratory team as a Neuroendocrine Cancer Pathway Coordinator. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team to provide highly specialist physiotherapy for children with cystic fibrosis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a clinical role to provide and develop a highly specialised physiotherapy service for all children with cystic fibrosis in the regional centre.
  • Manage patients with other chronic airway clearance requirements on an outpatient and clinic basis.
  • Use advanced skills in the assessment and treatment of children with cystic fibrosis to ensure high-quality physiotherapy treatment in the community.
  • Work within the community as a lone practitioner, collaborating with the CF consultants, nurse specialist, and dietitian.
  • Provide highly specialist physiotherapy input and advice at CF clinics, annual reviews, and peripheral clinics within the Trust and throughout the South West region.
  • Act as a source of expertise on the management of CF patients and provide an advisory service to patients, physiotherapists, other health professionals, and consultants.
  • Provide education, training, and teaching to physiotherapy students, healthcare professionals, and other physiotherapists at local, national, and international levels.
