Main Responsibilities- Provide clinical leadership to a designated nursing team and ensure the provision of high-quality nursing care to patients and carers.
- Assist in the safe, effective, and efficient management of the department within allocated resources.
- Delegated responsibility for the running of the unit in the absence of the manager, including staff recruitment and retention, delivery of care plans and risk assessments, medication management, and the development of the service.
Sustainability is integral to the NHS achieving the NHS Net Zero target. All staff are therefore actively encouraged and supported to implement new ways of working within their field of expertise.
Person Specification- Diploma in Adult Nursing
- Degree in Adult Nursing
- Managerial experience
- Previous Band 6 experience
- Evidence of problem solving, managing people, supervisory skills
