Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze complex data requirements and design scalable data solutions using Scala, Spark, and Hadoop.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement data-driven solutions that meet business needs.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and security by implementing robust testing frameworks and data validation mechanisms.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in Big Data and Scala, and apply this knowledge to improve our data processing systems.
  • Contribute to the development of our team's technical capabilities and mentor junior team members in Scala and Big Data technologies.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience in software development using Scala, Java, Spring, Spark, and Hadoop.
  • Strong understanding of concurrency, distributed systems development, and performance optimization.
  • Experience with cloud-based platforms, such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.
  • Big Data technologies experience, including Hadoop, Snowflake, and Google BigQuery.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
