About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Manager to join our Digital Product Management Team at Boots. As a Product Manager, you will play a key role in the delivery of our Digital Transformation agenda, putting the customer at the heart of all we do.

Key Responsibilities

  • Shaping and delivering the digital product vision, roadmap, and subsequent development across our digital channels.
  • Representing the 'voice of the customer' through the lifecycle by bringing knowledge of the Product's vision, domain, and users.
  • Monitoring the product's performance and development, promoting the delivery of maximum value.
  • Providing comprehensive product support throughout the duration of our platform migration effort, ensuring seamless transition and operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Strategic thinking: Ability to analyze market and industry trends to inform product roadmaps and identify innovations that meet customer needs.
  • Data-driven: Vigilantly tracking and interpreting key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to oversee and enhance product performance throughout its lifecycle.
  • User experience (UX): Understanding of UX to ensure the product meets user needs and provides a positive experience.
  • Communication: Communicates product updates, successes, and value with relevant business stakeholders.
  • Relationship building: Builds relationships with key colleagues, including user experience, optimization, program management, IT, and others, in support of the successful delivery of products.
  • Business acumen: Grasping market trends and incorporating customer feedback to align products with business goals and user expectations.
  • Market and industry analysis: Using external and internal insights to inform the product roadmap and identify customer needs.
  • Roadmap management: Manages development of product roadmaps within area of ownership, ensuring consideration for customer, business, and technology needs.
  • Strategic data analysis: Employing a deep analysis of KPIs to inform and shape strategic decision-making, ensuring that product development aligns with the organization's data-driven approach.
  • Advocacy: Actively promotes the team and acts as an advocate of the product discipline within the organization.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience as a product manager or owner with demonstrable experience across a variety of products or domains.
  • Great attention to detail, while keeping sight of the bigger picture.
  • Proactive, independent, and self-starting, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Understanding of technical aspects of product development, working closely with IT colleagues.
  • Familiarity with digital development approaches and agile delivery principles, ideally in a scaled agile (SAFe) environment.
  • A passionate product professional, applying the discipline's best practices and sharing knowledge and experience with team members.
  • Familiarity with pharmacy and healthcare, as well as an understanding of available technology.
