Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Landscaping Specialist to join our team at Get Golfing CIO. As a key member of our groundskeeping team, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the beautiful gardens and landscapes surrounding our golf courses.

About the Role

This part-time position offers flexible hours with opportunities to work independently or as part of a team. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, strong physical stamina, and a passion for gardening and horticulture.

Responsibilities

  1. Maintain flower beds, borders, and other garden features to ensure exceptional playing conditions and a pleasant environment for customers.
  2. Prune and trim trees, shrubs, and hedges to maintain their health and appearance.
  3. Plant new plants and maintain existing ones, ensuring proper irrigation and watering.
  4. Weed and perform general maintenance tasks to keep garden areas tidy.
  5. Operate and maintain gardening equipment and machinery safely and efficiently.
  6. Collaborate with the groundskeeping team to achieve a cohesive and well-maintained environment.
  7. Acknowledge and adhere to health and safety guidelines and protocols.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is around £25,000-£30,000 per annum, depending on experience. Benefits include pension plans, work-from-home flexibility, training and development opportunities, free golf, 50% discount on food and beverage, and a staff referral program.
