Education Support Assistant in Norfolk SEN School

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Education Support Assistant to join our team at a large SEN school in Quidenham, Norwich. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing individualized support to students with communication and interaction difficulties, specific learning difficulties, or conditions on the autistic spectrum.
Key Responsibilities- Establish a warm and supportive relationship with pupils to help them feel safe and engaged.
- Promote independence and personal development in pupils while maintaining high expectations of behavior.
- Support the delivery of high-quality educational activities as part of a broad and balanced curriculum.
- Adapt to the varying needs of the school to ensure smooth operation.
- GCSE Maths and English Language qualification minimum Grade 4 or equivalent is essential.
- Level 2 - 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification (or working towards).
- Understanding of Safeguarding principles and Child Protection procedures.
- Experience and knowledge of working with pupils with SEMH and ASD.
- Candidates must hold a full UK driving license and have access to their own vehicle due to the school's location.
