Role Overview

Norfolk County Council is seeking a highly skilled Educational Psychologist to join our team. As an expert in child development and education, you will work with families, schools, and other professionals to provide exceptional support to children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to improve educational outcomes for children with SEND
  • Provide training and support to schools and other professionals on effective practices for children with SEND
  • Collaborate with families and other agencies to develop and implement personalized plans for children with SEND
  • Conduct assessments and provide recommendations for children with SEND

Requirements

  • Doctorate in Educational Psychology
  • HCPC registration
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Possess a passion for supporting children and young people with SEND
