United Living is seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join its team in a dynamic and diverse work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in overseeing activities of construction activities within an assigned area of responsibility.
- Assist with the planning and coordination of construction activities within the area of responsibility.
- Monitor subcontractor personnel to ensure adherence with project plans and promote quality control of all installations.
- Enforce policies, procedures, and related work rules as established by Field Management.
- Assist with compliance of the United Living Infrastructure Services safety program that creates a safe and healthy work environment on the construction site.
- Work with document control systems, project management systems, and other software or databases to keep information flow up-to-date and accurate.
- Interface with clients and designers to ensure compliance to design intent and client satisfaction.
- Contribute to building good communications between field management, project management, subcontractors, suppliers, vendors, and specialty contractors.
- Responsible for continuously expanding and updating professional knowledge and honing training skills to enhance individual and team innovation and productivity.
Requirements:
- Must have Gas or Pipeline experience.
- Proficient using Microsoft Office programs, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Experience on similar works for or with National Grid, Cadent, Northern Gas Networks, Scotia Gas Networks would be advantageous.
- Willing to travel on a weekly basis.
