School Administrator Position

We are seeking an experienced Administrator to work in a school environment in the Stafford area. The ideal candidate will have a background in school administration and be proficient in SIMS. The role will involve inputting details onto SIMS, answering phones and taking messages, typing of letters and memos, filing, faxing and photocopying, dealing with parents and pupils, and monitoring attendance. The successful candidate will be proactive, hardworking, used to working to strict deadlines, not afraid to take on new tasks, able to multi task, and have an outgoing and friendly personality.
The role will be temporary, with the possibility of moving to a permanent contract within the school. As a School Administrator, you will be supported by Georgina Longhorne, Aspire People's Office & Technical consultant for the Staffordshire and Derbyshire areas.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Inputting details onto SIMS
- Answering phones and taking messages
- Typing of letters and memos
- Filing, faxing and photocopying
- Dealing with parents and pupils
- Monitoring attendance
