About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Engineer to join our team at Esh Group. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading and managing civil engineering schemes within our General Civils Sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engineering Leadership
    • Lead and manage civil engineering schemes, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
    • Develop and implement engineering strategies to improve project delivery and efficiency.
  • Technical Expertise
    • Provide technical guidance and support to engineers and other stakeholders, ensuring that projects are delivered in accordance with relevant standards and regulations.
    • Develop and maintain technical knowledge and skills, staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.
  • Project Management
    • Plan, coordinate, and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that deadlines are met and resources are allocated effectively.
    • Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, and reports, ensuring that financial performance is optimized.
  • Team Management
    • Lead and manage a team of engineers and technicians, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.
    • Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of team members.
Requirements
  • Qualifications
    • Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience
    • Minimum 5 years' experience in civil engineering, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects.
    • Experience of leading and managing teams, with a strong focus on team development and performance.
  • Skills
    • Excellent technical knowledge and skills in civil engineering, including CAD, N4CE/LSS, and other relevant software.
    • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
