About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at St Andrew's Healthcare. As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for leading a multi-disciplinary team and overseeing the management of patients with complex mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a full MDT and help shape services further through strategic decision-making and improvement projects
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with complex mental health needs
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to improve patient care and outcomes
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • MRCPsych or equivalent
  • CCT in Forensic Psychiatry, Old Age Psychiatry or General Adult Psychiatry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong leadership and management skills
