About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at St Andrew's Healthcare. As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for leading a multi-disciplinary team and overseeing the management of patients with complex needs. You will have the opportunity to promote innovation and improvement of services, develop your specialist interests, and grow your remit and responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a multi-disciplinary team and oversee the management of patients with complex needs
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to improve patient outcomes
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Contribute to the development of new services and initiatives
  • Provide education and training to junior staff

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • MRCPsych or equivalent qualification
  • CESR or CCT in Forensic Psychiatry, Learning Disability Psychiatry, or General Adult Psychiatry
  • Experience of working in a similar role
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
