Job Overview:
We are looking for an exceptional Family Support Assistant to join our team at Kent County Council. As a key member of our staff, you will work closely with our team to provide vital support to vulnerable children and their families in the 0-11 age range.

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of families across Kent. You will be responsible for delivering play and learning opportunities, home learning initiatives, and targeted interventions in various settings including Family Hubs, Community Buildings, Schools, and homes.

About the Position:
In this challenging yet rewarding role, you will operate as a Family Hub Support Worker in outreach settings, providing 1:1 and group support to young children and their families. You will also lead the delivery of play and learning opportunities across Family Hub sites, family homes, and community settings.

Responsibilities:
Your primary responsibilities will include supporting Public Health initiatives, home learning initiatives, parenting programs, and workshops to strengthen resilience and empowerment of children and their parents. Additionally, you will be working in a variety of settings including Family Hubs, Community Buildings, Schools, Homes, and digital/virtual spaces. The estimated salary for this role is £28,000 per annum.
