Main Responsibilities

The Transportation Equipment Mechanic will be responsible for maintaining tram assets according to established guidelines and procedures.

The main responsibilities of this role include:

  • Maintaining tram assets according to established guidelines and procedures.
  • Participating actively in safety briefings and workshops to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Performing maintenance tasks to the highest standards, adhering to policies and safety guidelines.
  • Providing constructive feedback on any issues encountered during maintenance activities.
  • Ensuring accurate and up-to-date asset management records.
  • Only performing maintenance activities within certified scope of work.

We require the following skills and qualifications:

  • NVQ Level 3 in an engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Familiarity with maintenance activities in a large team environment.
