Job Summary

Michael Page Finance is seeking a highly skilled Senior Management Accountant to join our team as a Financial Strategist. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for providing financial guidance and support to senior management and budget managers.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Financial Planning and Analysis

Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts to support business decision-making.

Financial Reporting

Prepare and review financial reports, including management accounts and budgets, to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.

Financial Planning and Budgeting

Collaborate with senior management and budget managers to develop and implement financial plans and budgets.

Financial Analysis and Interpretation

Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and provide recommendations to senior management.

Financial Systems and Processes

Develop and implement financial systems and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Financial Governance and Compliance

Ensure compliance with financial regulations and laws, and maintain accurate financial records.

Requirements

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified.
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Experience supporting non-finance staff with annual budgets.

What We Offer

This role offers a competitive salary of up to £55,000, 28 days holiday (inclusive of Christmas shut down) + bank holidays, and 17.5% pension contribution. You will also have the opportunity to work in a hybrid working pattern, with 3 days home and 2 days office.
