About the Role

This is a dynamic and challenging role that requires the safe and efficient operation of a Counterbalance Forklift Truck to transport timber products within the service and bulks yard.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operating a Counterbalance FLT to transport timber products in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Safely handling and storing timber in designated areas, adhering to health and safety protocols.
  • Conducting daily vehicle checks to ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintaining smooth operations.
  • Collaborating with the site team to achieve operational excellence.

Requirements for this role include:

Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • A minimum of a B2 license (B3 license preferred) with experience operating high-capacity Forklift Trucks.
  • Excellent knowledge of health and safety protocols and the ability to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including occasional weekend overtime.

We offer a competitive basic pay rate of £12.25/hour, with opportunities for overtime at an enhanced rate of £15.25/hour and bank holidays paid at £18.25/hour.

In addition, we provide consistent weekly hours with a minimum of 40 hours guaranteed, paid holidays based on accrued hours, and access to our Employee Support Programme through our NAvigate+ App.
