Materials Handler

We are seeking an experienced Counterbalance FLT Driver to join our team at a Bulk Timber Distributor based on the Port of Sheerness. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for safely operating counterbalance forklifts to transport timber bulks within the site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate counterbalance forklifts to transport timber bulks
• Conduct regular checks on equipment and report any issues
• Work effectively as part of a team to achieve operational goals
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations

Requirements:

• B2 category on their licence with proven experience in operating counterbalance forklifts
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Able to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics

Working Hours & Shift Patterns:

Monday to Friday, 7am-3pm, with regular breaks

Salary: £14.62 per hour PAYE, estimated annual salary £30,425.60
