We are seeking an experienced and passionate Special Educational Needs (SEN) teacher to join our team at Aspire People. This fulfilling role offers the opportunity to make a tangible impact on the lives of students with diverse educational needs, working collaboratively with families and educators to create personalized learning environments that foster growth and confidence.
About the Position:
To be successful in this role, you will require Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent SEN teaching qualification, along with proven experience working with children with special educational needs. Your expertise should include a deep understanding of SEN-specific strategies, resources, and teaching methods. Additionally, you must be willing to undertake a DBS check and adapt to changing circumstances within the education sector.
Key Job Requirements:
- Proven track record of working effectively with children and young people with ASD, ADHD, and other learning and developmental challenges.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement tailored learning plans that cater to individual students' needs and abilities.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with teaching assistants, SEN specialists, and parents.
- Capacity for ongoing professional development to stay updated on SEN teaching best practices.
