Lead Aerodynamics Engineer

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading aerodynamic studies and ensuring the integration of aerodynamic solutions across various projects. Your expertise in CFD and performance analysis will be crucial in shaping the future of missile airframe design.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and deliver aerodynamic studies using CFD and other analytical tools to support and enhance missile airframe design.
  • Work closely with teams from System Design, Mechanical Design, Simulation, and Guidance to develop high-performance missile systems.
  • Collaborate with key external stakeholders, including the Ministry of Defence (MOD), aerospace companies, and academic institutions, to drive forward aerodynamic research and development.
  • Mentor junior engineers and support their professional development.
What We Offer:
  • Competitive base salary up to £60,000, depending on experience.
  • Annual bonus of approximately £2,500.
  • Optional paid overtime at a flat rate of 1.25x.
  • Opportunity to accrue up to 15 additional days of leave.
  • 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays.
  • Generous pension scheme with 14% contribution (6% employee, 8% employer).
