About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Clinical Orderly to join our team at East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust. As a Clinical Orderly, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a clean and tidy appearance of patient bed areas, equipment, and the ward
  • Assist nursing staff with essential patient-specific tasks and errands
  • Report mechanical defects on machines to the department lead
  • Ensure observation of infection control procedures and hygiene legislation
Person Specification
  • Evidence of good general education, including Maths and English
  • Ability to adapt quickly within the departmental training program
  • Good written and spoken English
