About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Clinical Orderly to join our team at East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust. As a Clinical Orderly, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients, ensuring that our ward is well-stocked and equipped to provide the best possible care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a clean and tidy appearance of the ward, adhering to departmental policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular bed safety rail checks and report any mechanical defects to the department lead.
  • Ensure observation of infection control procedures and hygiene legislation.
  • Assist nursing staff with essential patient-specific tasks and errands.
Requirements
  • Evidence of good general education, including Maths and English.
  • Ability to adapt quickly within the departmental training program.
  • Good written and spoken English.
