We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Clinical Orderly to join our team at East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust. As a Clinical Orderly, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients, ensuring that our ward is well-stocked and equipped to provide the best possible care.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain a clean and tidy appearance of the ward, adhering to departmental policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular bed safety rail checks and report any mechanical defects to the department lead.
- Ensure observation of infection control procedures and hygiene legislation.
- Assist nursing staff with essential patient-specific tasks and errands.
- Evidence of good general education, including Maths and English.
- Ability to adapt quickly within the departmental training program.
- Good written and spoken English.
