Job Summary
We are seeking a Team Leader for our inbound Sales team, responsible for handling customer inquiries and converting them into clients. The successful candidate will report to the Sales Manager and oversee a team of 8, providing hands-on support and ensuring excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Sales Manager in supervising the growing team and providing cover during absences.
- Design and facilitate sales training for the team, focusing on improving performance metrics.
- Monitor sales performance and proactively identify areas for improvement.
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a high standard of courtesy and efficiency.
- Answer a high volume of incoming calls, recording information and building strong relationships with customers and internal departments.
- Develop a confident approach to handling multiple calls, even under pressure.
Requirements
- Experience working in a sales team in a mid-senior capacity is essential.
- Some management experience is desirable but not essential.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with diverse customers in a sensitive, empathetic, and professional manner.
- Excellent telephone manner and clear verbal communication.
- Positive attitude with high energy and ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Ability to produce accurate, relevant, and comprehensive notes.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to use Microsoft Office effectively.
- Experience in using Microsoft Dynamics is desirable but not essential.
Benefits
The role offers a basic salary up to £45,000, plus bonus/commission and excellent benefits. The company also offers hybrid working, with 2/3 days in the office per week.
