About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Year 2 Teacher to join our team of passionate educators. As a key member of our school community, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational experiences of our students.

In this role, you will be responsible for creating a stimulating and nurturing learning environment that encourages academic and personal growth in our students.

Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing effective lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of Year 2 students.
  • Maintaining accurate records of student progress and achievement.
  • Providing regular feedback and setting targets for improvement.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to develop curriculum materials and share best practices.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience teaching Year 2 students in a primary school setting.
  • Excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment methods.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

The salary for this role is approximately £45,000 - £60,000 per annum.
