About the Opportunity

Wayman Learning Trust in Norfolk is looking for an exceptional Design and Technology Teacher to join our innovative team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and creative educator to inspire students aged 11-18 and contribute to our thriving DT department.

The ideal candidate will have experience teaching KS3-KS5 students, a strong understanding of curriculum requirements, and the ability to deliver engaging lessons that cater to diverse learning needs. Our well-equipped DT department provides students with access to modern facilities, enabling them to explore various aspects of design and manufacturing.

Responsibilities
  • Teach Design and Technology to students aged 11-18, promoting creativity, innovation, and problem-solving skills
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs
  • Maintain high standards of student achievement and progress
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Degree-qualified DT Teacher with experience teaching KS3-KS5 students
  • Legal right to work in the UK
  • QTS or equivalent qualification
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as regular opportunities for professional development and a supportive environment that fosters collaboration and innovation.
