About the Role

GXO Logistics, Inc. is looking for a highly motivated Transport Administration Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our logistics operations, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our transportation services.

Salary Information

The salary for this position is expected to be around £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience. This is a competitive offer that reflects the importance of this role within our organisation.

Key Accountabilities
  • You will be responsible for ensuring all staff members are properly debriefed and comply with relevant regulations.
  • Monitoring tachographs and adhering to legal requirements is also a crucial aspect of this role.
  • Day-to-day interactions with drivers, customers, and internal teams will be a significant part of your responsibilities.
  • Communicating effectively with stores to inform them of any delivery issues is also essential.
  • Addressing any problems or concerns that may arise during the night shift is another key responsibility.
Essential Skills
  • Strong communication and organisational skills are vital for this role.
  • Familiarity with Tachograph compliance and knowledge of the Working Time Directive would be advantageous.
  • Previous experience in a similar transport administration position would be beneficial.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, is required.
  • A positive and enthusiastic attitude is necessary to excel in this role.
