This position offers a unique opportunity to work with children and young people with a variety of learning needs, in a creative and flexible manner, to raise their engagement and improve their educational journey.
What we offer our SEND Teachers:
- Competitive salary: £34,000 - £47,000 per annum.
- PAYE.
- Full-time position.
- Extensive CPD, progression, and upskilling opportunities.
- Support Team dedicated to ensuring every placement is a success for the young person and you.
Responsibilities:
- Planning engaging and holistic sessions for each young person.
- Providing individualized support to meet the needs of each learner.
- Completing lesson reports and providing feedback on progress.
Requirements:
- Professional Teaching Qualifications (QTS / QTLS / PGCE / B.Ed / PTLLS / DTLLS / CELTA).
- Minimum 2 years teaching experience.
- Experience working with young people with Additional Educational Needs, specifically SEMH.
- Experience, knowledge, and understanding of safeguarding processes.
- Enhanced DBS (we can assist with obtaining this at cost if needed).
- Two professional references.
- Commitment to promoting the health, safety, and wellbeing of children and young people, and adhering to safeguarding policies and procedures.
