We are seeking a dedicated SEND teacher to join our team at an 'Outstanding' school in Sutton. This role is perfect for qualified SEND teachers who are passionate about transforming the lives of vulnerable learners.

The successful candidate will have a genuine passion for working with children and young people with a variety of learning needs. They will be responsible for planning engaging sessions, providing holistic support, and advancing the educational and social-emotional journey of our students.

What we offer:

  • A competitive salary of £34,000 - £47,000 per annum.
  • PAYE.
  • Full-time position with extensive CPD, progression, and upskilling opportunities.
  • A dedicated Support Team to ensure every placement is a success.

Responsibilities:

  • Planning and delivering engaging sessions for our students.
  • Providing holistic support to meet the needs of our students.
  • Completing lesson reports and providing feedback on student progress.
  • Teaching English, Maths, and Science to lower abilities.
  • Teaching in small groups.

Requirements:

  • Professional Teaching Qualifications (QTS / QTLS / PGCE / B.Ed / PTLLS / DTLLS / CELTA).
  • Minimum 2 years teaching experience.
  • Experience working with young people with Additional Educational Needs specifically SEMH.
  • Experience, knowledge, and understanding of safeguarding processes.
  • Enhanced DBS (we can assist with obtaining this at cost if needed).
  • Two professional references.
