We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Taylor Higson, a renowned business providing innovative solutions to the print and packaging industries.
As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for safely relocating and installing heavy-duty machinery used in print production, as well as other FMCG manufacturing or industrial industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Relocate and install industrial-scale printing equipment, ensuring optimal placement and minimal damage.
- Expertly install new machinery, ensuring all systems are operational.
- Work collaboratively with our team to achieve project goals.
- Develop and maintain strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems, particularly print equipment and heavy-duty machinery.
- Travel across the UK or overseas when required, with a full driving license and passport.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Engineer in a similar role.
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems, ideally print equipment or heavy-duty machinery within another FMCG sector.
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in mechanical engineering or a related field.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
