Kings Security is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Trainee Fire Risk Assessor. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting fire risk assessments and fire door inspections at various client sites throughout the UK.
Key Responsibilities- Undertake a comprehensive fire safety development programme, including training and exams, to develop the core skills required to conduct fire risk assessments and fire door inspections.
- Conduct suitable and sufficient fire risk assessments, recording all significant findings using our proprietary Quidvisrisk app.
- Carry out quality control processes using our RMS software package.
- Perform comprehensive fire door inspections at a range of client sites.
- Manage your time and travel effectively to ensure work commitments are achieved.
- Communicate effectively with our management team to enable effective time and workload management.
- Complete all company-required administration, such as expenses, mileage, and leave requests, in a timely and effective manner.
- Demonstrate a genuine interest in the fire industry.
- Keen eye for detail.
- Ability to use a smartphone application.
- Willingness to study technical guidelines and pass examinations.
- Basic IT literacy skills.
- Good standard of written English to enable report writing.
- Full British driving license.
- Smart, presentable appearance.
- Background or experience in the fire industry.
- Applicable health and safety qualifications.
- Third-party accreditation with an industry-recognized body, such as the IFE, IFSM, or FPA.
- Fire door inspection qualification, such as C&G.
