Workshop Engineer/Service Technician/Hydraulic Engineer Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Workshop Engineer/Service Technician/Hydraulic Engineer to join our team at Verto People. The successful candidate will provide mechanical repair, service, and maintenance on various Hydraulic systems, including rams, pumps, motors, valves, powerpacks, hoses, and other mechanical engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide mechanical repair, service, and maintenance on various Hydraulic systems.
  2. Undertake planned and preventative maintenance of a variety of mechanical engineering equipment.
  3. Install Hydraulic systems into all forms of the manufacturing industry.
  4. Liaise with various engineering departments.

Requirements:

  1. Service/maintenance background in electromechanical or mechanical engineering.
  2. Proven diagnostic skills on complicated electrical or mechanical engineering systems.
  3. Experience as a Service Engineer, Service Technician, Hydraulic Engineer, Mobile Engineer, Mechanical Fitter, Workshop Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Installation Engineer, Pump Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, or similar.
  4. The ability to maintain good professional working relationships with existing and new customers.
  5. A technical engineering degree/qualification or apprentice-trained would be advantageous.
  6. Willingness to commute to the Newbury area and be based out of the workshop.

  1. Competitive salary of £30,000 - £40,000 depending on experience.
