Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Workshop Engineer to join our team at Verto People.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will provide mechanical repair, service, and maintenance on various hydraulic systems, including rams, pumps, motors, valves, powerpacks, hoses, and other mechanical engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform mechanical repair, service, and maintenance on hydraulic systems
  • Undertake planned and preventative maintenance of mechanical engineering equipment
  • Install hydraulic systems into various manufacturing industries
  • Liaise with engineering departments
Requirements
  • Service/maintenance background in electromechanical or mechanical engineering
  • Proven diagnostic skills on complex electrical or mechanical systems
  • Experience as a Service Engineer, Service Technician, Hydraulic Engineer, Mobile Engineer, Mechanical Fitter, Workshop Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Installation Engineer, Pump Engineer, or similar
  • Ability to maintain good professional working relationships with customers
  • Technical engineering degree/qualification or apprentice-trained (advantageous)
  • Willingness to commute to the Newbury area and work from the workshop
Package
  • Competitive salary: £30,000 - £40,000 depending on experience
