Trade Settlements Specialist

About the Role

This position is responsible for monitoring global markets, checking reports, and identifying settlement matching issues. The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

  • Monitoring global markets and checking reports to identify settlement matching issues.
  • Investigating and resolving settlement matching issues and liaising with relevant market makers as necessary.
  • Monitoring exception reports and updating/amending data in relevant global markets custody portals.
  • Error analysis, resolution, and implementation, and liaising with relevant departments.
  • Following CASS rules to support compliance and audit processes and escalating issues as required.
  • Formulating detailed written responses to various stakeholders.
  • FX calculations and trade input.

About You

Additionally, the following skills will ensure success in this role:

  • Operational settlements knowledge.
  • A strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, with a focus on Excel/Outlook/MS Teams.
  • Good knowledge of percentage calculations and general numerical formulas.

Requirements

This is a high-volume desk with tight daily deadlines, therefore the ability to work accurately under time pressure is crucial. Time management and organisational skills are also key.
