The ideal candidate will be responsible for:
- Monitoring Global markets, checking reports, identifying, investigating, and resolving all settlement matching issues and liaising with relevant market makers as necessary.
- Monitoring all exception reports that arise throughout the complete settlement cycle, updating/amending data in the relevant Global markets custody portals.
- General trade amendments and mailbox monitoring.
- Error analysis, resolution, and implementation, and liaising with the relevant departments, including analysis and management of reconciliation breaks.
- Following CASS rules to support compliance and audit processes and escalating issues as required.
- Formulating detailed written responses to various stakeholders.
- FX calculations and trade input.

Additionally, the following will ensure success in this role:
- Operational settlements knowledge.
- Ideally, you will have knowledge of FIGARO, our operating system, BNP's NEOLINK, and BoNY's Nexen portals, however, experience within these software is preferable not mandatory.
- This is a high-volume desk with tight daily deadlines, therefore, the ability to work accurately under time pressure is crucial, additionally, time management and organisational skills are also key.
- A strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite is needed, with a focus on Excel/Outlook/MS Teams.
- Good knowledge of percentage calculations and general numerical formulas.
