Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic graduate to join our team as a teaching assistant at a mainstream secondary school in the Hall Green area of Birmingham.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with students with special educational needs, providing them with the support and guidance they need to succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist students with special educational needs in lessons and activities
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Contribute to the development of effective lesson plans and resources

Person Specification:

  • GCSEs in English and Maths
  • Previous experience in a teaching assistant role
  • Experience working with children in an educational/care setting
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)

Estimated Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum (£85-100 per day), dependent on experience
