Maxillofacial Prosthetist/Reconstructive Specialist

Job Summary
University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled Maxillofacial Prosthetist/Reconstructive Scientist to join our team for a period of 12 months. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a clinical, scientific, and advisory service to patients undergoing reconstructive procedures or rehabilitation using implants, splints, and prostheses.
Main Responsibilities
- Deliver a clinical, technical service to patients undergoing reconstructive procedures or rehabilitation using implants, splints, and prostheses.
- Liaise with team members and schedule patients' clinical appointments and surgical procedures.
- Be responsible for organizing own clinical sessions and quality control of work produced within the patient environment.
- Provide clinical and technical support and liaise with multi-disciplinary teams.
- Coordinate and arrange treatment plans, timetabling of clinical/technical procedures, discharge from care, and referring on/back of individual cases.
- Participate in patient case conferences/meetings and carry out invasive procedures in the clinic or operating theatre within specified restraints.
