### Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Contract Facilities Officer to join our team at Osborne Richardson. As a Contract Facilities Officer, you will play a crucial role in the administration, processing, and delivery of Disabled Facilities Grants, including both mandatory and discretionary grants.
### Key Responsibilities
* Carry out the duties of the Disabled Facilities Grant Officer imposed by statute and including such other Environmental Health functions, as may be required under the direction of the Private Sector Housing, HMOs, and Grants Manager.
* Administer, process, and deliver Disabled Facilities Grants, including both mandatory and discretionary grants.
* Conduct site inspections and assessments to determine the need for Disabled Facilities Grants.
* Collaborate with stakeholders, including local authorities, to ensure the effective delivery of Disabled Facilities Grants.
### Requirements
* At least 2 years of experience in a local authority setting, preferably in a role related to Environmental Health or Housing.
* Strong knowledge of Environmental Health functions and regulations.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
