Job Title: Emergency Medicine Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Specialist to join our team at the NHS. As a key member of our Emergency Department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working closely with nursing, managerial, and medical colleagues to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and treat patients presenting to the Emergency Department, initiating emergency treatment as necessary.
  • Participate in a 24-hour full shift rota, prioritizing patient safety and care.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide high-quality healthcare, adhering to antimicrobial prescribing policies.
Person Specification:
  • Hold a medical degree from a recognized institution, or equivalent experience.
  • Have a minimum of 3 years' post-registration experience, with at least 6 months in Emergency Medicine.
  • Be computer literate for communication and audit purposes.
