Urban Development Assistant

This Trainee Planner position is ideal for a motivated individual with a degree in Town Planning or a related field and a keen interest in the property development industry. The role involves assisting in balancing diverse demands such as housing, industry, transport, and environmental needs.
The Trainee Planner will provide innovative planning solutions, consult with stakeholders, and negotiate with councils, architects, and other professionals. Key responsibilities include researching planning policies, drafting Planning, Design, and Access Statements, and utilising IT systems such as CAD or GIS to support proposals.

Requirements:
- A degree in Town Planning or a related field
- A keen interest in the property development industry
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills
- To be driven and organised
- Great teamwork
- To be willing to travel, and ideally have a UK driving license with access to a private vehicle
This role offers an opportunity to grow professionally while contributing to a dynamic and collaborative team culture in a supportive business environment.
Salary: Up to £33,000 depending on experience. The role is office based, Monday to Friday, with only a 35-hour working week. The hours are also flexible, with the core hours being 10am-4pm.
