We are seeking a highly skilled Site Manager to lead our construction projects.

The company provides Construction and Project Management Services to clients developing Renewable Energy or other Civil Engineering projects. This includes:

  • Civil & Electrical Design
  • Project Procurement
  • Contract Management
  • Site Supervision
  • Principle Contractor Role
  • Project Execution to completion

Key Responsibilities

• Managing and optimising the construction programme

• Managing and minimising construction costs

• Fostering and maintaining good working relationships with clients and their representatives

• Leading, motivating and monitoring the site team and developing the strategy as required

• Leading Safety Management on site for all activities, suppliers and subcontractors

• Liaising with consultants and subcontractors engaged in the project as necessary

• Introducing improvements and innovation where appropriate to areas of responsibility

• Checking drawings and specifications

• Scheduling materials for ordering from the procurement department

• Ensuring quality records are maintained as necessary to meet quality requirements

• Resolving unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise

• Liaising with other function/departmental managers

• Preparing and evaluating Risk Assessments and Method Statements for works

The Ideal Candidate

• Formal qualification in Civil Engineering, Engineering or Quantity Surveying

• Expected job role level of competency: HND, B.Eng or M.Eng

• Site experience years

• Management experience: 2 years minimum

• Willingness to undertake travel across the UK where necessary

• Eligibility to work in the UK

• Valid UK driving licence
