About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Care and Support Professional to join our team at Salford Council. As a Residential Keyworker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to vulnerable adolescents who are on the edge of care, in care, or at risk of placement instability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide individualized care and support to young people, promoting their physical, emotional, and psychological well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with a multi-agency team to develop and implement personalized care plans.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the 'No Wrong Door' approach, a new and exciting way of working collaboratively to meet the needs of our most vulnerable children and families in Salford.
  • Participate in ongoing learning and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • Level 3 qualification in Children and Young People or equivalent.
  • Extensive experience of working with vulnerable adolescents who have complex needs and present high risk.
  • Sound knowledge of the Children Homes Regulations and Quality Standards.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multi-agency team.
