Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and ambitious Chef to join our team at Sodexo in Kiwi Bulford Barracks, Wiltshire. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional food service to our armed forces personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and presentation of high-quality meals
  • Ensure strict adherence to health and safety guidelines and regulations
  • Collaborate with the front-of-house team to drive service excellence
  • Monitor and maintain high standards of sanitation and hygiene
  • Develop and implement new menu ideas and recipes

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent experience in a busy kitchen environment
  • Basic IT skills and ability to learn new systems
  • Experience in menu production and confident input
  • Exposure to bulk cooking and ability to work under pressure
  • Enthusiasm to develop and learn new skills

Package Details:

  • 40 hours per week
  • Shift pattern/ hours: Any five out of seven days
  • Early and late shifts
