We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic pharmacist to join our team in a state-of-the-art pharmacy department at the Royal United Hospitals Bath NHS Foundation Trust.
Main Responsibilities- Work in various sections of the pharmacy department, including trust operational teams, mental health services, in-patients, dispensary, homecare services, medicines information, aseptic department, and chemotherapy satellite unit.
- Clinically assess patients' medication charts, obtain accurate medication histories, and participate in discharge planning for patients on designated wards.
- Dispense prescriptions in all sections of the department, including TPN, Chemotherapy, and radiopharmaceuticals, according to standard operating procedures and policies.
- Provide a final check on prescriptions dispensed by pharmacy technicians, assistants, and pharmacy students.
