Rotational Pharmacist

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic pharmacist to join our team in a state-of-the-art pharmacy department at the Royal United Hospitals Bath NHS Foundation Trust.
The successful candidate will join a pool of rotational Band 6 pharmacists and rotate through various specialties, including CCG, operational opportunities, medicines information, aseptics, haematology, oncology, mental health, and quality improvement methodologies.
Main Responsibilities
Work in all sections of the pharmacy department, including trust operational teams, mental health services, in-patients, dispensary, homecare services, medicines information, aseptic department, and chemotherapy satellite unit.
Clinically assess patients' medication charts, obtain accurate medication histories, assess discharge prescriptions, and participate in discharge planning.
Dispense prescriptions in all sections of the department, including TPN, Chemotherapy, and radiopharmaceuticals, according to standard operating procedures and policies.

Person Specification
Essential qualifications include a Degree in Pharmacy or Master Degree in Pharmacy.
Good knowledge and understanding of disease states and their treatments obtained through the completion of degree course and pre-registration year.
