Financial Planning Assistant

We are excited to partner with a well-established financial advice firm seeking to expand their support team in the UK.
This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional passionate about financial planning and client service, with a strong foundation in administrative tasks.
- Prepare and process business documents for new and existing clients.
- Provide administrative support to paraplanners and IFAs, ensuring seamless communication and efficient task management.
- Maintain accurate records of client information within the back office system.
- Handle incoming queries from clients and external providers via telephone or other communication channels.
- E nsure all files are compliant with relevant regulations, adhering to strict guidelines.
- Liaise with providers to gather policy information, providing valuable insights to the team.
- 2+ years of experience in an administrative role within the financial services industry, preferably in a similar support function.
- GCSE Maths and English Language (or equivalent) - graded C or above, demonstrating strong foundational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly.
- Attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and precision in all tasks.
- Experience in managing client expectations, maintaining positive relationships and resolving issues efficiently.
- D esire to learn and develop, with a willingness to take on new challenges and responsibilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, adapting to changing priorities and deadlines.
- Familiarity with MS products including Outlook, Word, and Excel, with proficiency in using these tools to manage tasks and data.
- Prior experience working with Intelliflo Office & provider platforms, a significant advantage in this role.
- A basic salary of £34,000 per annum, dependent on experience and qualifications, reflecting your value to the team.
