Holiday Club Play Leader Role

">

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to lead our Fun Week program at Stratford Park Leisure Centre, Stroud. As a Holiday Club Play Leader, you will be responsible for managing and motivating your team to deliver a high-quality program of activities to children aged 5-12 years old.

Key Responsibilities:

">
  • ">
  • Manage and motivate the team to ensure they deliver the program to a high standard.">
  • Liaise with parents/carers, the staffing team, and directors regularly.">
  • Ensure sessions delivered are challenging, realistic and fun for primary-aged children.">
  • Create a positive learning environment for the children in our care.">
  • Deliver the coaching program to a high standard consistently.">
  • Follow our coaching philosophy, ensuring everything we deliver is fun, inclusive and educational.">
  • Understand the individual needs of the staff and children in our care and challenge/engage them appropriately.">
  • Deal with any first aid/emergency situation.">
  • Be approachable in liaising with parents/carers.">
  • Commit to ensuring every session is delivered to the best of your ability.">

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

">
  • ">
  • A keen interest and passion in working with and facilitating fun games for primary-aged children.">
  • Experience working at children's holiday camps and/or a childcare setting.">
  • Demonstrates willingness to develop their skills and general practice.">
  • Punctuality, reliability and commitment.">
  • Experience in delivering activities to primary-aged children.">
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.">
  • Able to interact well with staff, parents/carers, and children.">

Preferred Requirements:

The ideal candidate will also have:

">
  • ">
  • Clean UK driver's license.">
  • Experience and/or willingness to deliver other activities during our Fun Week provision, such as arts and crafts, and multi-sports.">
  • Completed appropriate courses at Sixth Form, College or University.">
">

Salary:

We offer a competitive salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
