Job Overview
The Senior Care Assistant role is an exciting opportunity to join our team and make a real difference in the lives of our residents. With a focus on providing person-centred care, we are seeking a highly motivated and caring individual to lead our care support efforts and promote best practices in care.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervising a team and managing daily care routines.
- Providing daily living assistance with a focus on dignity, respect, and independence.
- Conducting medication rounds accurately and ensuring daily charts are completed to a high standard.
- Promoting best practices in care, addressing concerns, and participating in team evaluations as directed by the Home Manager.
Requirements
- A relevant professional qualification (e.g., Registered Nurse or NVQ Level 3).
- A minimum of two years experience in a residential or nursing care setting.
- An understanding of Person-Centred Care Planning.
- Awareness of safeguarding principles and abuse prevention.
- Proximity to the location (within a 30-minute commute).

This full-time position offers a competitive salary of £14.54 per hour, annual pay increases up to 8% based on performance, plus cost of living adjustments, and other attractive benefits including paid holidays, pension, training and development opportunities, and more.
