Job Title: Healthcare Assistant - Complex Care

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Apollo Home Healthcare. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our service users with complex needs.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing personal care, social support, and domestic support to our service users in their own homes. You will work closely with our team to develop and implement individual care plans, ensuring that our service users receive the best possible care and support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing personal care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
  • Assisting with medication administration and monitoring
  • Supporting with daily living activities, such as meal preparation and household chores
  • Encouraging social interaction and engagement with our service users
  • Working collaboratively with our team to develop and implement individual care plans
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 3 months previous care experience
  • Medication administration training
  • Personal care skills
  • Moving and handling training
  • Tracheostomy care experience
  • Children's experience
  • Pet-friendly
