We are seeking a highly skilled pharmacy technician to join our team at Barton Family Practice. This is a part-time opportunity to support the Practice Based Clinical Pharmacist in delivering safe, effective and efficient systems for repeat prescribing, medicines optimization and maximizing patient outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have a Certificate of Higher Education or NVQ3 Pharmacy Services and be able to undertake medicines reconciliation, support Prescribing Quality and Outcomes Framework targets and provide advice on prescribing changes.

Barton Family Practice is a non-dispensing practice serving a population of 7200 in semi-rural Staffordshire. We are committed to providing high-quality patient care and are looking for a skilled pharmacy technician to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Practice Based Clinical Pharmacist in ensuring the delivery of safe and effective repeat prescribing systems
  • Undertake medicines reconciliation according to practice protocols
  • Provide advice to GPs, staff and patients on changes to prescribing

We offer a competitive salary of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum depending on experience and a company pension scheme available to all employees.
